It’s not entirely about being physically active. You can run a marathon every day which burns close to 3000 calories and eat an entire pizza which has about 2500 calories and you’ll lose weight. If you run the average 7-10 miles a day that a cross country runner does, that’s at most 1500 calories if you’re a very heavy person. The easiest is a balance. Exercise and eat, but keep it in moderation.

Personally I believe its not the food makes you fat, but how physically active your life is. If the only exercise you have is walking away from your couch to the bathroom or to the car, then no healthy food will help you ever.
