This is perfect for people who have 2 floor homes. If you don’t have a 2 floor home and instead live in a condo or apartment building, just use the stairs in your building.

For 1 hour, every other commercial break I want you to run up stairs and walk down them until the TV show is back on. This means you’ll do it 4 times for 3 minutes each time. NOT MUCH! But it gets results SUPER fast. Just do it 5 days a week. You’ll be glad you did. Results will be noticed within 10 days.

Not only does this work in making you eat better, it is also a gradual change that recognizes differences almost immediately. It is also something that will make a change which will last for the rest of your life.

The exercise that you should be doing is a combination of high intensity interval training for aerobics and weight training to add muscle mass to your body. Whenever you do these two things on alternating days, you would be surprised with exactly how much you can boost your metabolism. Since calories are really what matters whenever it comes to weight gain and loss, if you’re able to burn additional calories because your metabolism is running faster, it will assist you in losing the weight that you need to lose.

4. Sweets. I’m not saying to give up candy for the rest of your life or even to stop eating it entirely. But candy is usually a high-calorie, high fat, and high sugar food item. Cutting candy out of your diet will automatically cut down your useless-calorie intake and improve your weight loss. If you feel the craving for something sweet, eat a fruit. It’s tasty and a lot healthier.
